Below is a link to my monthly newsletter including the September 2019 market stats from the Victoria Real Estate Board. The following is a synopsis and update on the past month as well as any thoughts as to where the market could go from here.
Condos and townhouses, because they are generally in a more affordable price bracket, are still seeing rising values while single family home prices are moderating slightly (perhaps we've reached peak price there).
If you're a buyer, don't give up hope, I'm still seeing (relatively speaking) some good opportunities out there. If you're a seller, buyers are perhaps more selective than the past few years but reasonably priced homes are selling well when marketed appropriately.
I do see many marketing fails in this business so it's actually not too difficult to stand out from the crowd by keeping the home updated, clean & tidy, well-staged, and properly marketed. I can help with that.
Buyers have been keeping me hopping this past month and I'm hoping to find some good homes for them soon. If you're considering selling, please reach out.
